Chili Open

Friday, April 4th, 2008

Our “Chili Open” was a success. The weather cooperated – it was a beautiful sunny day. Eighteen of us enjoyed a chili lunch, salads, corn bread, and yummy desserts. After lunch we had a good time just catching up on visiting. The next lunch will be on Wednesday, April 30 at noon. Bring your favorite casserole or vegetable; dessert and drink will be provided. Bring a friend or family member to join us for good food and fellowship. Goldenaires is for anyone of retirement age. If you have any questions, talk to Nancy Potts.

Goldenaires Luncheon

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

In spite of the snow and cold, several hardy souls ventured out for the Goldenaires luncheon on February 27. A variety of pasta dishes, salad and desserts were enjoyed. A visit to Italy’s Amalfi coast (via DVD) made our Italian dinner feel a little more authentic. Our next lunch will be at noon on Wednesday, March 26, when we will have a “Chili Open” – no, we won’t be golfing in the snow, just enjoying chili for lunch. Mark your calendar now and plan to attend. More information will be in the bulletin in a few weeks. Goldenaires is open to anyone of retirement age.
