On April 23, Michael Harris will share his music and testimony with us during the morning worship service at 10:45 am and will also bless us with a concert in the evening at 6:30 pm. Come and be blessed by his music.
Two teams of Pathfinders from our church will be traveling to Prescott, Arizona next weekend to participate in the North American Division level of the Pathfinder Bible Experience. They have been studying the book of Exodus for many months and have made first place finished in the local level, conference level, and union level.
There will be a short vespers and a business meeting at the church at 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 9. Please plan to attend as we discuss the renovation project, finances, and pastor search.
At 6:00 pm, on March 12, Tyrone Settlemier will be having a piano concert at the Akron 1st Church. A love offering will be taken and proceeds will benefit the Akron Crusaders Pathfinder Bible Experience teams. Recordings will be sold after the concert.
On March 10 between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm, Mayfair Christian School will have an Open House and Kindergarten Round Up. This is the perfect time for those who plan to attend Kindergarten in the fall to join our students for a morning of fun. During the open house, we invite you to stop by the school to take a tour, visit the classrooms, meet the staff and teachers, register your student and ask any questions you might have. Mayfair Christian School will be having this fundraising event on February 20 at 6:00 pm. Come and enjoy delicious soups, breads, and spreads followed by two special musical performances. You won’t want to miss this!
The Pathfinder club will be hosting an International Food Fair at Mayfair Christian School on January 30 beginning at 6:30 pm. Please come support this fundraiser for the club and enjoy delicious food from all over the world. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to come!
Next Sabbath, January 16, the Adventurers will be providing a vespers program for the church at 5:00 pm. Please come out and support the children of our church and see what a blessing they are as they share their love for Jesus. Following the vespers, there will be a church business meeting to discuss the operation and ministry of our church.
