The 2nd annual Firestone Park Community Church Picnic will be held on Sunday, August the 1st. Food will be provided free of charge and will be served from 12-1:30. There will be activities for all ages – face painting, dominos, bocce ball, live music, card games, water balloon toss, cornhole, and much more! Please remember to invite your family and friends and bring your own chairs. The picnic will be held rain or shine.

Last year over 160 people from four area churches (Akron First Seventh-day Adventist, St. Paul Catholic, Firestone Park United Methodist and Firestone Park Presbyterian) met at Firestone Park for the first annual community church picnic. As the picnic began, each pastor had a few words to share with the group. There were various games which everyone enjoyed and then it was time to eat the delicious food prepared by each church, followed by more games. After the games, we visited and socialized with one another, and got to know more of the people from each church congregation.

All children in kindergarten through the sixth grade are welcome to come join us at “Saddle Ridge Ranch” for a great time for Vacation Bible School. The fun runs from July the 19th to July the 23rd from 6:00 – 8:00 PM each evening at the Akron First Seventh-day Adventist Church.
